The National Champion

On the 13^th day of September 2010 is the moment were all cebuano’s had been waiting for, because it was the game 5 of the deciding match between M Lhuillier Kwarta Padala Cebu Niños against the hardest rival MisOr Meteors in the best-of-five series to the first ever championship of the Tournament of the Philippines held at the Cebu Coliseum. The team was supported by the team owner Señorito Michel Lhuillier together with his son Michael Lhuillier, daughter in law Joanna Lhuillier and grand son Michael James Lhuillier who were also present during the game. The team led by head coach Raul “Yayoy” Alcoseba that survive to a highly physical and emotional encounter with their never-say-die spirit on the game that come-up to the final score of 78-76. The team celebrates this historic victory together with the crowd that could reach up to 8,000 cebuano’s basketball fanatic.
